From instructional production to supporting NC State’s enterprise academic technology, DELTA is leading the way in creating extraordinary digital experiences with a focus on quality, support, access, research and innovation. Help Desk and Training
The DELTA training and support teams offer faculty and staff a variety of live, on-demand, in-person, and online support and training — including a help desk offering live support 66 hours each week.
Enterprise Academic Technology
DELTA supports a suite of enterprise-level academic technology tools for teaching and learning at NC State. These tools include WolfWare, Moodle, Zoom, Panopto, PlayPosit, Top Hat, Gradescope, IntelliBoard, Yellowdig, WolfWare WordPress and more.
Course Improvement and Development Initiatives
Through DELTA Grants, Course Quality (CQ) programs and other initiatives, DELTA supports course content design and delivery goals for the NC State community.
Classroom Support
DELTA operates 8 classrooms where dedicated support staff record quality video and audio for online and distance education courses. The classroom support team also collaborates with ClassTech to provide classroom capture technology in classrooms across campus.
Wicked Problems, Wolfpack Solutions
Wicked Problems, Wolfpack Solutions is a multidisciplinary course experience created for all incoming first-year and transfer students. DELTA staff contribute significantly to its success through video and media production, instructional design, marketing and communications leadership, assessment and project management.
REPORTER and WolfWare Outreach
The WolfWare Outreach service allows DELTA to provide our academic technology platform to non-credit, fee-based outreach, extension and engagement offerings.
Online and Distance Education
DELTA supports online and distance education programs at NC State by collaborating with program directors and coordinators, assisting with new programs and providing an all-inclusive website with important details for future and current students.
DELTA Test Center
DELTA provides local and off-campus proctoring services for students to take exams in a professional, secure and monitored setting.
Marketing and Communications
DELTA provides marketing support for NC State online and distance education programs ranging from executing advertising campaigns that generate inquiries and applications to writing articles and email campaigns.
